Hikmah Puasa : Saling Berbagi dan Melatih Kepedulian Sosial

Salah satu nama lain Bulan Ramadhan yaitu "Syahrul Muwasaat" atau bulan berbagi. Kenapa Ramadhan disebut bulan berbagi ? Karena di bulan Ramadhan, kita sangat dianjurkan untuk berbagi rezeki dengan hamba-hamba Allah yang lain, terutama kaum mustadh'afin, faqir miskin, anak-anak yatim, dll.

Oleh karena itu, melalui bulan Ramadhan sesungguhnya kita dilatih agar selalu saling berbagi dengan orang lain dan sebagai sarana latihan untuk kepedulian sosial.

Begitu pula salah satu hikmah Allah SWT mewajibkan ibadah puasa adalah untuk mempersamakan kedudukan antara orang kaya dan orang miskin.  Sebagaimana Seorang Ulama Ahli Ilmu mengatakan,

اِنَّمَا فَرَضَ اللهُ الصِّيَامَ لِيَسْتَوِيَ بِهِ الْغِنَى وَالْفَقِيْر

“Allah mewajibkan ibadah ibadah puasa untuk mempersamakan kedudukan antara orang kaya dan orang miskin.”

Orang miskin papa merasakan lapar saat berpuasa, maka orang kaya yang banyak harta pun merasakan lapar juga. Orang kaya merasakan haus saat berpuasa, maka orang miskin merasakan hal serupa. Orang kaya harus menahan hawa nafsu saat berpuasa, maka orang miskin harus melakukan hal yang sama. Di sinilah kesamaan kedudukan antara si kaya dan si miskin ketika mereka melakukan ibadah puasa.

Puasa yang dilakukan seseorang yang hanya mengandalkan sisi-sisi ritual saja, maka puasanya seolah-olah kehilangan makna. Sehingga, bila puasa kita ingin menjadi lebih bermakna, tiada jalan lain kecuali kita harus banyak bergerak di sisi sosial, dengan berkhidmat kepada hamba-hamba Allah lainnya.

Bagaimana Meredam Kemarahan Yang Banyak Merugikan

      Marah merupakan perbuatan yang tidak baik. Yang saya maksud adalah marah yang tidak proporsional. Marah yang tak ada juntrungannya. Yang disulut oleh hawa nafsu dan godaan syetan. Bila kita melihat seseorang yang sedang marah, maka kita dapat melihat sorot matanya yang tajam, muka yang memerah, gigi yang menggeretak, bahkan akal sehatnya juga sedang terkesampingkan. Pokoknya gak enak dipandang mata deh.

      Kita juga persis sama saat dilanda kemarahan karena ulah siapa saja. Ulah istri, anak, teman, dan lain-lain. Memang, sebaiknya persoalan apapun kita selesaikan dengan kepala dingin dan menggunakan akal sehat, jangan sampai emosi kita terpancing sehingga hawa nafsu kemarahan kita akan meraja lela. Makanya nabi SAW mengingatkan kita semua dalam salah satu sabdanya ,"jangan marah, jangan marah, jangan marah." Karena betapa tidak, sebenarnya ketika kita mengumbar hawa nafsu kemarahan, itu akan menimbulkan beberapa akibat kerugian.

1. Kerugian buat diri sendiri : akan terbiasa terpancing emosi, mengurangi kewibawaan diri sendiri, bahkan secara kesehatan dapat menyebabkan penyakit tertentu.

2. Kerugian buat orang lain : orang akan tidak simpati kepada kita, orang yang kita marahi sesungguhnya akan berontak, dll.

      Apa yang harus kita lakukan saat kita dilanda kemarahan. Kita ingat terapi Nabi SAW yang sangat efektif dalam meredam kemarahan. Cepat-cepat berwudhu, insyaallah akan meredakan marah. Filosofinya adalah marah itu dari syetan, sedangkan syetan itu terbuat dari api. Api akan terkalahkan dengan air. Nah, kemarahan akibat hawa nafsu syetan, kita redam dengan air wudhu.

     Hikmah yang dapat kita ambil yaitu dengan kemarahan sesungguhnya persoalan tidak mungkin terselesaikan. Jadi lebih baik kita mengatasinya dengan kepala dingin dan akal sehat.
